An AI assistant for your booking agenda: talk to it, in Portuguese
What the agend.pt AI assistant does: answers questions about your agenda, books, reschedules, accepts requests, creates and edits services, sets your opening hours and blocks time off by voice or text, always with your confirmation.
A barber with scissors in hand, a physiotherapist between two patients, a beautician with gloves on: none of them has a free hand to open the laptop, find the right day and click "accept". The agenda keeps moving while they work, and that is where unanswered requests pile up.
The agend.pt AI assistant fixes this in the simplest way: you talk to the agenda. In European Portuguese or English, by voice or by text, from the dashboard. It answers what you ask, opens what you request and proposes the changes you want to make. It saves only after you confirm.
What is the agend.pt AI assistant?
A conversation panel inside the agend.pt dashboard. Type, or hold the microphone and speak. The assistant understands the request, looks at your business's data (and only yours) and replies with text, with cards for the booking, customer or service involved and, when it makes sense, with an action: it opens the booking, shows the day's calendar or proposes a change for you to confirm.
It is not a generic chatbot. It does not write emails, browse the web or discuss the weather. It does one thing: run your agenda with your words.
What can I ask it?
Three kinds of requests, in plain language.
Questions about the agenda
- "What is my next appointment?"
- "How many bookings do I have tomorrow?"
- "What do I have today?"
- "Who did not show up this month?"
- "When is my next free slot?"
- "When am I on holiday?"
The answer comes in one or two sentences and, below it, cards for the bookings or customers it mentions, ready to open with a tap. Ask for free slots and each one is a button: tap it and the assistant books that slot, asking only for what it still needs.
Opening things in the dashboard
- "Open Maria's booking"
- "Open Gael's profile"
- "Show me next week"
- "Go to settings"
- "Open the haircut service"
The dashboard opens the right screen. When something is ambiguous — two Marias with a booking, a service it needs you to pick — the assistant does not guess and does not make you type it again: it shows the options as buttons and you tap one.
Changes, always with confirmation
Bookings:
- "Book a haircut for Pedro tomorrow at 10"
- "Accept Maria's request"
- "Cancel tomorrow's 3 pm booking"
- "Move Maria's booking to Friday at 4 pm"
- "Propose Friday at 4 pm to Pedro"
- "Rita did not show up"
- "I have already contacted João"
Your time and your team:
- "Block holidays from 21 to 24 September"
- "Close the shop on Friday afternoon"
- "Extend the holidays to the 26th"
- "Close on Mondays" · "Open Saturdays from 9 to 1"
- "Block Friday for Rui" (only that person's slots close)
- "Deactivate Ana"
Your catalogue and settings:
- "Create a beard service, 20 minutes, 8 euros"
- "Change the haircut to 45 minutes"
- "Remove the massage service"
- "Note that Maria prefers mornings"
- "Turn on automatic confirmation"
Here the assistant prepares the change and shows you exactly what will happen: "Book Haircut for Pedro Nunes on 15 Sep 10:00 with Rui. It is confirmed at once and the customer is notified." Only after you tap Confirm is the booking created and the customer notified. Tap Dismiss, or simply ask for something else, and nothing is saved. If the slot is already taken, the assistant tells you why and only books over it when you say so.
Why does every change ask for confirmation?
Because the agenda is what pays the bills. A misheard "cancel Maria's" in a noisy salon must not cancel the wrong booking, notify the customer and refund a deposit. So the assistant never saves on its own initiative: it proposes, shows, waits. A two-second read prevents a two-week mistake.
When you confirm, the change goes through exactly the same path as the dashboard button: booking checks availability and sends the customer the confirmation; accepting a request captures the deposit if there is one and sends the email and SMS; cancelling handles the refund according to the payment method; proposing a new time sends the customer a link to accept; a service saved by voice obeys the same limits and validations as the service form. There is no second set of rules, and the calendar updates on the spot.
The proposal also protects you from stale data. If something changes between the moment the card appears and the moment you tap — the customer was renamed, the slot was taken, the absence was deleted — the assistant refuses the change and tells you, rather than applying it to the wrong record.
Does it really work in European Portuguese?
Yes. Speech recognition was chosen for its quality in European Portuguese, including first names and times said the Portuguese way ("às três e meia", "sexta à tarde", "de 21 a 24"). Replies come in Portuguese, or in English when you write in English.
It works on the phone and on the computer, in the browser, with nothing to install. On the phone, hold the microphone button while you speak and release when you are done.
Can the assistant see other businesses' data?
No. Every request runs inside your business: only your bookings, your customers, your services. The language model never receives identifiers it could make up; every lookup is done by agend.pt and the assistant only describes what was found. A staff member can only act on the bookings assigned to them, exactly as in the rest of the dashboard.
How much does it cost?
The assistant is included in the Pro plan, with no message limit that matters for a business (there is a technical cap against abuse). Pro is a flat monthly price with unlimited staff and bookings, and also includes SMS notifications and automatic Google review requests. See the pricing.
During the 14-day free trial the assistant answers 5 questions a day, enough to try it on a real working day; the allowance starts over every morning and the cap goes away when the subscription starts.
On the free or Premium plan, the assistant button appears in the dashboard with an explanation and the way to try Pro free for 14 days, no card required.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to speak? Can I just type? You can just type. Voice is optional; text goes through exactly the same assistant.
Does the assistant create new bookings on its own? Yes, once you confirm. Say the customer, the service and the time ("book a haircut for Pedro tomorrow at 10") and it prepares the booking with the right staff member, checks that the slot is free and shows you the summary. One tap on Confirm and the booking is created, confirmed and the customer notified. If the customer does not exist yet, they are created with the name you said; you can add their contact details later in their profile.
Can it change my services and opening hours, or does it just open the form? It makes the change. Say "create a beard service, 20 minutes, 8 euros" or "close on Mondays" and the assistant prepares it, shows you the before and after, and saves it when you confirm. It only opens a screen when you ask it to ("open the haircut service").
What if it misunderstands? That is what the confirmation is for. Read the summary before tapping Confirm; if it is not what you meant, ignore it and say it differently. Replies and actions are logged so we can improve the assistant from real requests.
Can I keep the conversation going? Yes. "Open Maria's booking" → "there are two" → "the second one" works. After 10 minutes without messages the conversation closes by itself and the next one starts fresh; you can also tap "New conversation".
